About G Fems
Gangsta Feminists was created by a group of students through a class on feminist theatre. Today, Gangsta Feminists is used as a tool to promote social justice through education and activism.
Many people may assume that “gangsta” is a negatively used word, and so assume that gangsta and feminism should not be put together. What we want people to realize is that we’ve reclaimed the word gangsta, and it is now a term we use to refer to the aggressiveness and passion that we put forth in our feminism and education.
The mission of Gangsta Feminists is to promote social justice and social change through social media. We use G Fems to discuss issues that we or many people may face today.
